Hearts&Mines – Big Money Shot 2011

Hello!

Guess what? Hearts&Mines will be participating in the 2011 edition of NewCap Radio/Live 88.5fm’s Big Money Shot programme! As you will remember last year, with your help, we won a whopping $5,000 in talent development money and have used it to partially fund our debut LP, “Find Your Way”, which is due for a hard release in Ottawa May 22nd, 2011. We also used a portion of the funding to produce some great merch which we are running low on, so make sure to come out to a show soon to ensure you get our first-edition shirts! Imagine what we could do with the Grand Prize! This year’s programme is chock-full of amazing opportunity for development with North America’s biggest names in music and we are stoked and feel privileged to be a part of it! Here are the deets:

Our performance date is set for April 15th at the LiVE Lounge, 128.5 York Street in Ottawa’s Byward Market. Make sure you show up early because this is going to be a busy night! The BMS programme showcases Ottawa’s hottest talent, so attendance is always high. Mark it down on your calendars, because you will not want to miss this!

Our brand-new album is in the final mastering stages and the album artwork is coming together. The cover will featured a fully-solvable, custom designed maze care of our good friend Ryan Seath of beautiful Nelson, British Columbia. We look forward to hours of entertainment trying to solve this beauty. Jason, our manager Nikki, and some friends have already given it their best shot without result. Could you be the first to “Find Your Way?” Stay tuned for a shot to be one of the first people to get your hands on the new album!

On April 14th we will be performing live and loud from Carleton University’s CKCU 93.1fm. You can listen in live at ckcufm.com. We are on at 10pm EST.
